Well, it’s been a week and I haven’t spent much time on the web, but I found a few interesting sites…

• I’d forgotten about the Fisher Space Pen. I think I need one of these, if for no other reason than it’s an engineering work.

• Sunday is Mother’s Day. I was looking for a list of holidays and found this Wikipedia entry.

• Ted Nugent has commentary on the Virginia Tech shootings. While I dislike the idea of firearms on campus, in general, there is ample reason to allow responsible adults every right to carry anywhere they go.

• I may use Subversion on one of my research projects for managing a filebase. It’s looking pretty good. There is a free book to describe its use.

• Here’s an odd link. I was looking for an image of a memory module for an eBay listing. I came across this description of a modification to a Linksys AP/router. How strange…
