• This CNN video is Lou Dobbs’ take on the recent conviction of an American for illegal transfer of a machine gun. Unfortunately, the machine gun in question was a malfunctioning AR-15, a semi-automatic rifle. Call your representatives.

• I want the “enter” key on the keypad to actually start a new line, just like the “enter” key on the main portion of the keyboard. Ukelele may help me fix this.

• I decided to just buy a copy of Textmate after giving it a try. For some reason, BBEdit won’t let me use the ten-key portion of my keyboard. That’s not OK.

• I think a portable air compressor is a good thing. This one would even fit on the bike and not require much space. I should probably get one for the car too.

• I know I’ve mentioned it before, but the radio alphabet is still a useful tool.
