Premonition

I drove home for lunch today. Wife is out running errands and Young Son is sequestered in his room. So, I ate alone.

It was an odd feeling and one I remember well. I spent a lot of time alone last year.

I’m reminded that in a couple of months Wife and Young Son head for Lubbock for the summer program. I’ll be alone for several weeks — the cats and me. It’s an odd feeling, that deja vu. I’m not going to like it much.
