Pile of Snakes

One of the things about Texas is the Sweetwater Rattlesnake Roundup that is an annual event. While I’m not a particular fan of the roundup, and there might be (emphasis on might) an impact to the local rattlesnake population, it is an interesting affair. I wish I’d attended it some time.

But, I didn’t. In any event, the image is from a friend who happened upon a wad of snakes in Palo Duro Canyon. Click on the image for more detail.
