Quick as Can Be

I’ve never been much of a meme player, but I’m enjoying the TT. So, OK. I’ll play along.

Onesome – Quick As: No graduations for me. I’m supposed to attend the Texas Tech graduation as a representative of my department, but I rarely go.

Twosome – Can: Whew, it’s May all right and not a moment too soon for this old man. Classes are now over and grades are done and I’m looking to the research work for the summer. The only birthday I know of <ahem> is mine.

Threesome – Be: I don’t have a bug thing. Most insects and arachnids don’t bother me much at all. In fact, I can’t really think of any that freak me out. When I was a kid in California, I used to collect red ants. I learned to catch them such that they couldn’t bite me and I would keep them in a jar. I loved to watch them build their tunnels.

I still like to play with jumping spiders. You know the ones I’m talking about, the little hairy guys that are roving hunters and not web builders. They will crawl over your hand and they always turn to look at you. I still think they’re cool.
