Via Ziff Davis, a story about the new Colby Systems 2GB microdrive.
I’m a heavy user of CF storage for my digital camera and for content on my PDA. I’ve been thinking about a microdrive (at least one) for images. The fact that microdrive densities are increasing is good news to me. They aren’t much more expensive than high-capacity compact flash (or other format) cards, although I suspect their power requirements are greater.
I just visited the Colby Systems web site. As of 0845 (CDT), that site has been hacked. I guess the warnings that have been circulating the last few days are true.
