Ruminator's Photo Gallery: 2005-08-18 Mike Pritchard and the Blue Thunder Lightning Horns

On Thursday evening, 18 August 2005, the Buddy Holly Center held their next-to-last program of the Summer Concert Series. Another local icon, Mike Pritchard, was accompanied by local musicians and a couple from other places (like Amarillo). The horn section is called The Blue Thunder Lightning Horns. (It would be interesting to hear the genesis of that name.) The context was high-energy rhythm and blues and they played LOUD! It was a fun concert, a beautiful late-summer evening, and Wife and I had a fine time.
