Well, the deed is done… The semester is over… Papers are all graded and grades are turned in…

Already I’ve started getting the complaints. Students don’t know why they received the grades they earned. They come to me and ask if there is extra work they can do to raise their grade. Or, they say that they worked hard.

I guess I’m burned out and tired of it. I have real problems with the way that students don’t accept responsibility for their work, or lack thereof.

At least it’s done. So am I.
